Most can’t imagine going through life without being able to sleep or eat enough, but Narconon clients often arrive with these problems. Their families are so angry that they haven’t imagined the hell that the addict is going through. Yet, they are suffering and it is our job to help them out.

The Narconon program helps address these issues and many more. Here is a most recent success story from a student who just completed the sauna and exercise program:

“Before I began the sauna and exercise program, I felt miserable every day and I let everyone know it. I was getting maybe 6 hours of sleep a night. My eating habits where horrible – I would only eat one big meal a day. My general attitude was that life was a big joke to me.

Within 5 days on the sauna program, I started sleeping like a bear in hibernation. I also started to awake hungry and I re-introduced my body to breakfast. I started to see the effects of the nutrients I was eating every day. Instead of dreading exercise, I was craving it. I started to notice my sense of smell wasn’t gone for good.

One big change I immediately noticed was how clear my skin looks. I used to have a dry face but I haven’t had a problem with dry skin since I’ve started sauna, which is amazing. My nails have been growing like crazy.

The best thing that I got out of sauna was the way my body feels overall. I used to never leave the couch because my legs were always aching with pain. Now I feel like a kid again. I can skateboard; play football, soccer, etc. without any soreness or pain. I really couldn’t ask for anything more.

I assess situations and think about past situations much differently. I even realize the emotional stress that I’ve caused my loved ones. I think much more rationally. I’m ready to repair the bridges I’ve burned. I feel fully aware and now exist in present time.

I didn’t think it was possible for me to change. I always thought most of the programs graduates were exaggerating about the way they felt. They would say at some point during the program something would just click. For me, something just clicked in sauna. I had a lot of time to think. It’s hard to think about the things I’ve done in the past and the darkness that lingers. Looking towards the future and the infinite possibilities I can’t help but to feel happy. I know that with the way I feel now in combination with the tools I will need to live a happy life, there’s no way I can fail.”

The Narconon program addresses biophysical, social and behavioral components of addiction. We cover many areas of life. With all these areas addressed, the graduate can create a new life.

Narconon drug rehab does much more than get people off drugs. It gives hope for a better future.

NARCONON PASSES ALONG IMPORTANT MESSAGE

Recently Narconon received this anonymous letter in the mail about huffing and how it had ruined the life of a friend. The writer wanted to make sure that the message was spread far and wide, so here is the letter;

“Dear Executive director,

Bless you for the work that you and your organization does! I am sending you my friend’s heartfelt important message to hopefully be passed on to other staff, children, teens and parents to which you are connected. It is about how she has a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and other permanent damage from using an inhalant otherwise known as “huffing” (inhaling fumes or chemical vapors from everyday household or industrial products such as glue, paint, any type of aerosol spray can or gas including even nice smelling things like perfume) from when she was just 12 years old. She is now in her 30s. Please forward the message along of how this has ruined her quality of life. Please feel free to make as many copies as you want and keep them on file to share with others.

Please keep in mind tha the use of inhalants goes across the board, including kids from dysfunctional families, or not, straight –A students or not, younger children or teens. It can really preserve the individual’ life and/or quality of life by letting others know about the true dangers and consequences of huffing. A person can die or overcome permanently disabled even after the FIRST time of use. It si that destructive and unpredictable! Some field experts have referred to huffing as “Chemical Russian Roulette” due to how uncertain the deadly and damaging the effects are of the inhalants use. So please pass on my friend’s message of how she has permanent life-long damage from huffing. Thank you so much. Your help is truly appreciated. Hopefully, the people that you reach will choose to make good, healthy decisions for themselves. Bless you and take care.”

Per this woman’s request, Narconon is getting the word out and we are asking that you pass it along as part of an ongoing effort to get the truth out about drugs. Don’t count on anyone else to do it – the responsibility lies with all of us.

For those who are huffing, and are not yet permanently disabled, Narconon drug rehab is a good solution. We have a 76% success rate.”

NARCONON NEW LIFE DETOXIFICATION PROGRAM CAN HELP SOMEONE SAY “NO” TO DRUGS

The Narconon New Life Detoxification Program includes time spent in a low heat and well ventilated sauna. Clients take frequent showers to cool down and they drink plenty of water. Exercise and nutrients are done as part of the program. Clients frequently report that they no longer have cravings and in fact, have a whole new outlook on life. Here is a recent success story from one of our clients.

“Many things have changed for me since I have started the Sauna Exercise program. I have changed, mentally, physically and emotionally. Physically, I have noticed that my hair is growing faster and my nails are also growing faster. My sleeping has improved and I can now sleep a normal 7 to 8 hours. My overall body image has changed and I have been gaining weight and feeling healthier.

Mentally, I have noticed that things seem clearer. My problem solving ability has gotten a lot better. I now think before I act and I notice that I have a lot more patience. I am a lot calmer about certain situations. I am remembering more of my past – things that I had forgotten.

Emotionally I have also noticed many changes since doing this part of the Narconon program. I am able to control my emotions and express them if I need to. IT is easier for me to talk to people and I am more relaxed. My attitude towards drugs right now is amazing. I never thought that I would be able to say no but with the way I am feeling now; I believe that I am strong enough to say no.

The sauna and exercise program has really helped me a great deal. I am feeling a hundred times better than I did before I started. I feel like I am definitely ready to move on with the rest of my program now.”

The staff at Narconon drug rehab strive to provide the best possible rehab program for our clients. Our 70% success rate shows that we are doing a pretty good job. We follow our clients for two years after graduation. Not only are most of them drug free, they are leading successful lives and are productive members of society.

Narconon helps students to live in the present time. Often times, over time, drug abusers lose touch with their environment, their friends, family and even their own feelings. Part of becoming drug free is to learn to be in communication with the environment and people as they are, right now. Following are the excerpts from one student’s diary of success stories.

DAY ONE “While we were in session I had a realization while we were doing the exercise. It made me thing about how in life we have things we have to do and that need to be done. I just don’t have to be overwhelmed by these things or issues that I need to deal with. In the past, I had no order in my life. Through these exercises, I am learning how to deal with one thing at a time. I can do things in a certain order and I know that everything will work out OK.”

DAY TWO “Today’s exercise really helped me learn to increase my perception. I can see things in detail and I can stay in the present moment. I realized how much a person can actually get out of life when they are in the present moment. I am here right now with no other distraction going on in my mind.”

DAY THREE “ Today while doing the exercises at Narconon I realized that the way I look at life has changed. The feeling of the present is a good calm feeling that I have never felt before, probably because I never let myself be in the present. The environment is more defined and I have a more a positive outlook on the future. I know I will not so easily get overwhelmed, because I will actually perceive what is happening without ignoring it. I can put things out into the world and get good back. I will concentrate on my future and creating good life skills and be a productive person in society.”

Every day at Narconon drug rehab there are scores of success stories from our students. Each success story represents a life that has gotten on track towards a great future.

Narconon students arrive here with broken lives. They sometimes feel that since they have messed things up so badly, that a good life is no longer possible for them. Frequently they feel that they don’t deserve a good life. A key element of the Narconon program is bringing the student to the point where they not only know they can create a good life – they feel they truly deserve one drug addiction free. Here is a success story from someone on the road to realizing that the good things in life are within their grasp.

“Before coming to Narconon I was skeptical about getting things that I wanted. I even wonder if I was worthy. Now, I feel like I am walking into my future and that future is up to me. I can see my freedom and life ahead of me and it is up to me to keep it there.

Up to now, I felt that I was bound to go to prison. I hated the thought, but I had actually come to accept it.

Now I know that I can live a productive life and keep myself out of trouble. I can stay off drugs because I realized I am worthy of a good productive life. In life, you can’t make it unless you believe in yourself. I have that belief in myself today. I realized that I can do it.

Another interesting thing happened. Up until now, I never really felt guilt about the things that I had done. Now I am not numb anymore and I can feel guilt. This has shocked me, but I feel like this is an important step in my recovery.”

This is an example of one person who has turned their life around through the Narconon program and we anticipate that throughout our two year follow-up of this student that he will continue to flourish after graduation.

At Narconon we know that stable recovery is achievable if one develops and maintains a personal sense of ethics.

On the Narconon drug treatment program, students learn that a vital element in maintaining sobriety is learning how to handle life’s problems with communication.

Here is the success of one student who has just begun the Narconon program and is learning the importance of communication.

“I learned that I have the ability to start, change and stop any activity – in other words, I can be in control of anything.

I learned to really listen to people through their word and body . With that information, I should acknowledge their problem or pain, understand fully or to the best of my ability, and try to find a solution, temporary though it may be.

I also learned that I have control of objects and situations in my life. I can control my own actions, through the power of thought.

Through the Narconon program, I am learning to live in the present, not in the past. I learned as a human, we all have flaws and we need to care about each other. I know that I have a responsibility to help others.

Drug addiction can be overcome by calling Narconon today.

Narconon drug treatment offers sauna detoxification as a way to rid the body of dangerous toxins that drugs cause within the body.

Although, this is my second opportunity to participate or undergo sauna treatment it has been beneficial to my overall health. I have experienced phenomenal gains; physical, psychological and emotional. I realize sauna has engaged and revitalized my health by means of detoxification. Also, the vitamins and minerals have certainly been helpful in nourishing my body from its deficiencies. Ultimately, this has improved my appetite, sleep, skin, physical appearance, mental health, energy level etc.

I feel energetic and motivated through the day, which is definitely a great gain. Most important, I’m glad that I don’t depend on any medication to help me with anxiety and sleep as before. I think that the fact my legal problems are behind me has also contributed and given me a huge sense of relief, and has been helpful with my mental state. The first time I did sauna, I was under a lot of stress and anxiety because of the legal situation. Now, I can focus on the program and my health.

While in sauna, I have experienced great realizations that were profound. Essentially, I realize that I don’t have any cravings or urges to drink alcohol. Actually, I’ve experienced some frustrations while trying to deal with my divorce including everything surrounding this situation. However, I had no desires or urge to drink. In the past, typically this kind of circumstance was would have been difficult or a challenge to handle and cope. This is absolutely a great accomplishment. I would recommend the sauna treatment to anyone regardless of their situation. Even, just for a normal health issue.

Narconon drug rehab has a 76% success rate with it’s sauna detoxification and course work to make sure that anyone receiving treatment re-enters the world drug free. Drug addiction doesn’t have to be the end of the road and you can recover. Get help today.

Living in the present is a vital part of long-term recovery. Living in the past, or digging up old memories can create mental anguish that a person may try to lessen with a drug like heroin or cocaine which leads to drug addiction.

Living in the present keeps one focused on the outside world. The Narconon drug treatment program emphasizes learning skills that keep a person in the present. Here is the success story from a person who is well on their way to realizing there is no place like the present.

“What I learned today was helpful in several ways. I have learned through the Narconon program that being in present time is a great way to stay off drugs. One of the many tools I have learned is how to stay in present time. I also notice that my spirits are really picking up!”
