I know for a fact that without it I'd mostlikely be dead. If not, I'd be in jail or an institution!! It has saved countless lives & I speak from 12 yrs. of experience on MMT! I am a productive citizen now, I pay taxes, vote, & everything else that any of you would do! And that is not including people that are still using drugs. The difference between us is that I USED to use them, now I don't! Also, it is in no way trading one addiction for another! Any more than one who finds out they have diabetes or a heart malady. They too will likely be on medication daily & for the rest of their lives. I can say that after reading this article, I seriously doubt that I'd EVER choose this facility for anything!
